We are committed to breaking the cycle of violence in the Hampton Roads area,  by addressing its root causes and providing sustainable, community-driven solutions. Through the Community Violence Intervention (CVI) Hub, we unite key stakeholders—including law enforcement, public health officials, educators, and grassroots organizations—to create a coordinated, data-driven approach to violence prevention.

Our efforts focus on prevention, intervention, and long-term support by:

•  Empowering youth through mentorship and economic opportunities

• Deploying trained violence interrupters to mediate conflicts

• Providing trauma-informed care and crisis response services

•  Supporting reentry programs to help formerly incarcerated individuals rebuild their lives

By fostering collaboration and equipping our community with the resources to thrive, we are building a safer, stronger future—one block at a time.
